Shadow On The Wind

A heavy wind whipped through the dying trees, sending the crumbling leaves flying to the hard ground. Somewhere out in the vast open land, a branch cracked, and fell from the tree it had been joined to for so many years. A yell was heard above the wind, and then the sound of barking dogs. A shadow moved through the trees, running with the wind, then breaking out onto the open plain. Her small hooves pounded at the hard ground, sending up clouds of dust behind her. Don't lie to me, don't say I'm free, because deep down, I'm no longer me. Don't joke around, don't say you care, those are the words, I never wanted to hear. You stole my heart, now I want it back, mended and free of fears. You showed me love, but it was bitter, an attempt to get in and make me care. Open the cage, let me out, untrap me from all pain. She leant forward in the saddle, urging her mare on. The gentle breeze played with her hair, tossing it around her face. She leant down slightly and stroked the mares neck, feeling the damp skin beneath her warm hand. The mare let out a soft nicker, and playfully leapt over a small log lying in her path. She continued on, growing faster with every stride. Her hooves pounded the hard dirt, spitting up small amounts of dust. The two of them sped on. United as one. The silver moon guiding their way. I dropped the note to the floor. As it slowly floated down, a small tear escaped from the corner of my eye. Words flew through my head, "It's me," "I'm sorry," "I loved you," "Forgive me," "Can we still be friends." Each word, each sentence, hurt me more than the first. He's 16 years old. Need I say anymore? He's legal, anyhow. Bwahaha. *dirty mind* My sister just got a job delivering papers, and when she was in the office this morning, she checked out the payslips, and saw "Rohan Alton" there. So she looked around and saw a whole lot of younger (13-) kids around, and so randomly asked a friend who everyone was, then slipped in "So where's this Rohan guy with the funny name?" And the other person was like "He's not here because he's 16" So Booyah to you! Bwehehehehe. I'm happy. It's like.. fate or something that my sister happens to work with him. Lmao. That's how it works in all the movies.

I'm not usually one to make much of a deal over something such as this, buuut. Well, the other week, I was at work, and this extremely cute guy came in with his Mum. They rented out some movies, blah blah. I was having a chat with his Mum and she mentioned how he had just finished all his exams.
